Hello! I was browsing through the internet to look for some studies on transnationalism in blogs. I’m also a masteral student here in the Philippines and I plan to study a few blogs of our Filipino literary writers using a theory on transnationalism. I have barely started on my thesis and i just wanted to get some helpful insights. You might also know other similar studies on blogs which you can share with me. I’m working ten hours a day, five days a week, plus overtime, which makes it a little difficult for me to conduct an in-depth research. Anyway, my project would take lesser time than yours since I’ll be doing more analysis than data collection. I just don’t have a theoretical framework yet. Anyway, any input you can give will be really hepful. Your blog alone has been very informative. Thank you very much. And God bless!
Joan, I’d be delighted to help out. What is your disciplinary background? I know that disciplinary boundaries are artificial, but knowing what discipline you’re trained in would give me an idea of what you’re already familiar with. Anyway, I’ll email you sometime this weekend.

I’m thinking of doing something like FILIPINO LITERARY WRITERS in TRANSNATIONAL SPACE and then something of that sort… Still pretty vague… Any help, references you can suggest or if you are aware of similar studies here in the Philippines will be really helpful. thank you so much.
